King Size Restraint Bed
In short
The Sovereign Bed in King is a 5ft restraint bed for a standard UK 150 × 200 cm mattress (up to 30 cm deep). It gives two sleepers 75 cm of width each, keeps its restraint rings hidden behind decorative panels, and comes in Onyx Black or Alabaster White with free UK delivery.
Why choose the King?
| King (5ft) | Double (4ft 6in) | |
|---|---|---|
| Mattress | 150 × 200 cm | 135 × 190 cm |
| Width per sleeper | 75 cm | 67.5 cm |
| Length | 10 cm longer | — |
| Best for | Couples who want space, taller sleepers, rooms of about 3 m wide or more | Compact rooms, close sleepers |
The King's extra width matters more than you'd think on a restraint bed: there's more room to move, to change position and simply to relax afterwards. Taller partners benefit from the extra 10 cm of length.

Will a King fit your room?
As a rough guide, a King mattress with 60 cm of walkway on each side needs a room about 270 cm wide, plus the extra width of the frame. Our room-fit calculator draws your room to scale. For the overall frame dimensions, email support@kinkybeds.com before you order.
Same system, bigger bed
The King has exactly the same hidden restraint system as the Double: integrated rings behind interchangeable decorative panels that swap in under 60 seconds with no tools, on a solid hardwood frame with a 150kg load rating and a 2-year structural warranty.
